NOTHING BUT NASCAR HERE! My first NASCAR Cup experience was the Richmond fall race in 1999. I've been a NASCAR and Tony Stewart fan since. Here's a look at him and NASCAR through a different set of eyes. Best viewed with Spread Firefox Affiliate Button

And as the curtian falls.....

Although we were Theoretically out of it weeks ago, the math caught up with us. Quite a charge to the front at the start, just couldn't seem to get out IN front. I think they're having trouble getting a winning car together this year. I'm sure Tony can pass these guys, but there just doesn't seem to be enough gas pedal under his right foot these days. The pit stops were,....well, you saw them. I didn't see Tony having to work the wheel a lot, so that tells me the car wasn't too loose (or too fast). Remember, I blow stuff up for a living, so that's my layman's opinion. It would have been interesting to see what clean air (the lead) could have done for the car; but if you can't qualify higher, or get the track position, it really doesn't matter. Tony's voice in the post race interview (at least he finished high enough to get one) told me the story. Bring on next year and we'll see what we can do in the Toyota. I'm sure he'll have fun at Homestead, but he's not expecting much and is happily looking forward to a few weeks off.
